Privacy notice
Last updated: 1 November 2026
This notice explains how we use the personal information you give us when you use the enquiry form on yumluscious.com. This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Who we are
YumLuscious is run by Giles Smith. We are the data controller for the information you send us.
Contact us about your data at yum@yumluscious.com or on 07966 490006.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number (if you give it), your event date (if you give it) and your message.
Why we use it
Only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you book with us, arrange catering for your event. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (answering a request you made) and, where you go on to book, taking steps to enter into a contract with you. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without asking you first.
Who handles it for us
- Web3Forms — passes the form to our email inbox.
- Vercel — hosts this website.
- Our email provider, where your enquiry is stored once it reaches us.
These providers process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service. Some may process data outside the UK, under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to two years so we can follow up and refer back to past events, then delete them. If you book with us, we keep booking records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email yum@yumluscious.com and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
